Welcome to an exciting year full of energy, change, and teamwork! Special Services provides a wide range of resources to promote the successful education of students with disabilities in the Least Restrictive Environment. Special Services encourages high expectations, variability, and flexibility in instruction that meets the diverse needs of every child while addressing the Arizona State Standards.
Our Special Services Department continues to explore and expand our services to meet the unique needs of all children, but also to promote the education of students with disabilities in the general education environment.
Our department is composed of a dedicated staff of Child Study Team Members, related service providers, Special Education teachers, and other specialists who ensure that we identify, evaluate, and provide all students with disabilities the appropriate services according to the student’s Individualized Educational Program.
I am looking forward to working with every one of you to ensure that this is the best department and school district in the state of Arizona.

The Child Find program helps to "find" children who may have a delay in development or a disability. Our goal is to provide early intervention and special education services for eligible children. If you know of a child who might need services, please contact your school. There is no cost for the program.
